Alexander Remus – Besonderes in vielerlei Hinsicht!

Gekleidet in einem schwarzen Ganzkörperanzug mit weißen Punkten, auch genannt Mophsuit, heizte der junge Held der Leipziger Club-Szene normalerweise die Stimmung jeder Party an.

Doch es steckt so viel mehr Kunst und musikalische Kreativität in ihm.
Mit liebevoller Hingabe zur Musik stellt er sein Können hinter den Plattentellern unter Beweis und lässt mit gekonnter Auswahl seiner Lieder von House bis Techhouse keine Wünsche offen. Geprägt durch die enge Freundschaft mit Thomas Ackermann entwickelte Alexander Remus schnell ein Gespür dafür, welche Klanghebel in Bewegung gesetzt werden müssen, um das gewisse Feeling auf dem Floor zu erzeugen.

Mit einer unvoreingenommenen und abwechslungsreichen Vielfalt schafft er es, jedem Club-Gast genau dieses Gefühl zu vermitteln, das man wahrnimmt, sobald man ihn hört. Wahrscheinlich ist es dieser Aspekt, das Schöne und gar Fremd gewordene, das so lange in der subkulturellen, elektronischen Szene unserer Region gefehlt hat.

Wir wissen noch nicht viel über Alexander Remus, mit Sicherheit wissen wir jedoch, dass er auf offene Ohren treffen wird. Denn das Wichtigste am Ende eines jeden Märchens ist doch nur, dass die musikalische Untermalung gestimmt hat.

Alexander Remus – special in so many ways!

Dressed in a black body suit with white dots , also called Morphsuit , the young hero of Leipzigs club scene usually heated up the atmosphere at any party.

But he has so much more art and musical creativity to show.
With loving devotion to the music he puts his skills behind the turntables to the test and leaves you with a skillful selection of his songs from House to Tech House, without leaving any wishes open. Influenced by the close friendship with Thomas Ackermann, Alexander Remus quickly developed a sense of which sound lever must be set in motion to produce a certain feeling on the floor.

With an widely spread musical diversity he manages to convey every club guest exactly this feeling, that you perceive as soon as you hear it. Probably it is this aspect which has become the beautiful and utterly foreign , that has been missing for so long in the subcultural, electronic scene in our region.

We do not know much about Alexander Remus, but certainly we know , that his music will be heard. Because the most important at the end of every fairy tale is that the background music was right.

Biografie:

Schon in seiner frühen Kindheit kam Patrick in Kontakt mit elektronischer Tanzmusik. Fasziniert von Trance- & House lebte er für diese Musik. Von Zeit zu Zeit würde seine Musik härter und härter.
Im Jahre 2000 begann er mit dem Mixing. Er bespielte Privatpartys, Geburtstage und einige Sportevents. Doch das war ihm nicht genug…
Er entdeckte zusammen mit einigen seiner Freunde Hard- & Jumpstyle. Die sogenannte „JumpCrew Leipzig“ wurde gegründet und Patrick wurde der DJ der Gruppe. „DJ Drukktechnik“ war von nun an sein Künstlername. Hierbei entwickelte er auch seine Mixing-Skills und legte fortan mit Vinyls auf.
Zusammen mit der Crew folgten diverse Auftritte in Discotheken und eigens angemieteten Hallen.

2010 wandte er sich wieder dem Trance zu und begann seine eigenen Tracks zu produzieren. Das Projekt „Cor Sanders“ entstand und bedient die Genres Trance, HandsUp, Electro & House.
Die Veränderungen / Weiterentwicklungen in der Szene haben Patrick auch beeinflusst. So erweiterte er das Repertoire von Cor Sanders um Minimal, Tech- & Deep-House.
Um seine Wurzeln in der härteren Musik nicht zu vergessen wurde 2012 das 3. Projekt gegründet: „Rough Stuff“, welches die Electro-House schiene bedient.

Already in his early childhood Patrick came in contact with electronic music. Fascinated by all areas of house & trance he lived only for this music. But from time to time, his music became harder and harder … Driven by the hard, driving beats he began in 2000 to put his hands on mixing. First it started with the mixing on a laptop, where he quickly made ​​a name for itself in its environment. The level of awareness has led to numerous gigs at private parties, birthdays and some sporting events. This however was not enough to him, because the music always continued to develop, so his interests changed.
Then he discovered Hardstyle & Jumpstyle for himself, his passion… The project “DJ Drukktechnik” was born. Hard beats, Rhythmic, harmonic melodies and some vocals, that was exactly what he needed. Soon, some friends and he founded one of the many “Jumpstyle crews”, which consisted of many of his friends and acquaintances. Here it was laying near that he was a disc jockey for that team. After a few weeks, there were the first gigs in several clubs in Leipzig. After buying real equipment (turntables, korgpad and so on, he improved his skills. Numerous gigs followed thereupon. He played for example with Bangbros, DJ Sacrifice, Jump Ahead, Patrick Jumpen, Nick D-Lite and so on …

In 2010, he applied himself again to the trance and started producing. The project “Cor Sanders” was established and deals with the directions Trance, HandsUp, Electro and House.
The movement in the scene also influenced him to expand his producing repertoire to Tech- and Deep-House. But to not forget his roots in the harder scene, he also has an Electro House project, called “Rough Stuff”.
